100 homes razed in Bogor fire

BOGOR: A huge fire razed at least 100 houses in Ciheleut
village, Bogor, on Wednesday evening.

No one was injured in the blaze, with residents of the densely
populated neighborhood managing to evacuate before the fire
escalated.

Witnesses said the blaze started at about 8 p.m. in a house
where a kerosene stove exploded.

Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames in five hours.

City officials provided tents and food for the victims. -- JP
