10% Vehicle Tax Discount in West Java During Eid 2026, Check How to Pay

The West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jabar) is providing a 10 per cent discount on annual motor vehicle tax (PKB) during the 2026 Eid holiday period. This programme applies to owners of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles who make payments from 18 to 24 March 2026. The policy is expected to alleviate the burden on the public amid rising needs during Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. “Rather than spending the money solely on Eid, it’s better to pay the tax and get a 10 per cent discount,” said Dedi in his statement on Friday (20/3/2026). Vehicle tax payments with the discount can be made through various digital channels, such as the Sapawarga application and Signal (National Digital Samsat). In addition to online services, the public can also utilise KiosK Samsat or ATM Samsat available at all main Samsat offices in West Java with staff assistance. The West Java Provincial Government also urges the public to update the Sapawarga application or contact the Jabar hotline for technical payment guidance. This discount programme is expected to increase taxpayer compliance while serving as an “Eid gift” for West Java residents to keep their vehicles legally compliant at a more affordable cost. Note that five-year vehicle taxes or licence plate replacement processes are not covered by this discount policy.
