10 Train Journeys in Daop 5 Purwokerto Cancelled Due to East Bekasi KRL Accident

Ten train journeys passing through the Daop 5 Purwokerto region in Central Java were cancelled on Tuesday (24/8/2026). This was due to an accident involving a KRL commuter train and the Agro Bromo Anggrek train at East Bekasi Station in West Java on Monday (27/4/2026) evening. “KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto extends its deepest apologies to our customers. Refunds can be processed at station counters or via the Contact Center 121 at 021-121, as well as through the Access by KAI app using the VoIP feature. For the Daop 5 Purwokerto region, ticket cancellation services at counters are available at Purwokerto Station, Kroya Station, Cilacap Station, and Kutoarjo Station. The deadline for submitting cancellations and refunds is a maximum of seven days from the date and time of departure stated on the ticket.
