10 Toll Roads Opened for Functional Use and Free of Charge During Lebaran 2026 Homecoming Period
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Ministry of Public Works (PU) together with the Toll Regulatory Agency (BPJT) and toll road concessionaires (BUJT) released a list of toll roads that will be opened functionally without tolls or free of charge for the inbound and outbound Lebaran 2026.
Director General Bina Marga Roy Rizal of the Ministry of PU said there will be 10 new toll sections opened functionally and free of charge for Lebaran 2026. This is done to support smooth service during the homecoming and return travel in Lebaran 2026.
“To support the service for the homecoming and return traffic for Lebaran 2026, we have prepared 10 toll roads that will be opened functionally with a total length of 291.13 km,” Roy said at a media gathering on Friday (6/3/2026).
Roy detailed that three sections are on Trans Sumatra totalling 90.73 km, Java island six sections totalling 148.03 km, and Kalimantan one section totalling 52.37 km.
“Trans Sumatra has 3 functional sections totalling 90.73 km, in Kalimantan there is 1 functional section totalling 52.37 km, and in Java there are 6 functional sections totalling 148.03 km,” Roy explained.
The policy is expected to help ease congestion and support smooth travel for travellers returning to their hometowns.
The following are the 10 toll roads that will be opened functionally and free during the Lebaran 2026 homecoming period.
Sumatra Island (Trans Sumatra)
Sigli–Banda Aceh Toll, Section 1, Padang Tiji–Seulimeum, 23.9 km
Kayuagung–Tebing Tinggi–Parapat Toll, Section 4, Sinaksak–Pematang Siantar, 28 km
Palembang–Betung Toll, Section 1, Kramasan–Musi Landas and Section 2, Musi Landas–Pangkalan Balai, 53.6 km
Java Island
Serang–Panimbang Toll, Section 2, Rangkasbitung–Cileles, 24.17 km
Bogor–Ciawi–Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll, Section 3, Parungkuda (Cibadak)–Akses Karangtengah, 4.9 km
Jakarta–Cikampek (Japek) 2 South, Section 3 to Section 6, 52 km, only applies during Lebaran 2026 returning traffic.
Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll, Section 6, Ambarawa–Bawen, 4.85 km
Yogyakarta–Solo (Joglo) Toll, Prambanan–Purwomartani, 11.48 km
Probolinggo–Banyuwangi (Probowangi) Phase 1, Gending–Besuki, 49.68 km
Kal imantan Island
- Balikpapan–Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) Toll, 52.37 km.
