10 Toll Road Sections to Operate Functionally During Eid Holiday Season, Here's the List

JAKARTA — The Government has prepared 10 functional toll road sections to support smooth traffic flow during the Eid 2026 (Idul Fitri 1447 H) holiday season, both for outbound and return journeys.

The total length of toll road sections with potential for operation reaches approximately 291.13 kilometres distributed across Sumatra, Java, and Kalimantan.

“This measure is taken to increase the capacity of the toll road network whilst alleviating potential congestion on major routes,” stated Dody in a statement on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

In the Sumatra region, there are three toll road sections with potential for operation, with a total length of approximately 90.73 kilometres. On Java Island, there are six toll road sections with potential for operation, with a total length of approximately 148.03 kilometres.

Head of BPJT at the Ministry of Public Works Wilan Oktavian stated that the operation of functional toll road sections will be flexible and situational, following traffic conditions on the ground.

“Traffic management and schemes, whether one-way or limited two-way, will be implemented according to Police discretion, including operational timings. These functional toll road sections are designated for Class I vehicles (non-buses),” he emphasised.
