10 to be tried for riots

LHOKSEUMAWE, Aceh: The North Aceh Police Department has
prepared dossiers on 10 people suspected of playing a role in
last month's devastating riots, Antara reported on Wednesday.

The dossiers will be presented to the Lhokseumawe Prosecutor's
Office this week, North Aceh Deputy Police Chief Maj. Amrin RM
told the news agency.

They will most likely be charged under articles 160 and 170 of
the Criminal Code pertaining to destruction to property, he said.
