10 Hajj Pilgrims from Solo Repatriated Due to Unfit for Flying
The number of prospective Hajj pilgrims from the Solo embarkation point who were repatriated to their home regions on Sunday, 26 April 2026, increased by six to a total of ten. Their departure to the Holy Land was postponed as health examinations declared them not istitha’ah and unfit to fly. “On Sunday, 26 April 2026, the prospective Hajj pilgrims returning to their regions accumulated to ten pilgrims from clusters 3, 4, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13, due to not being istitha’ah and unfit to fly,” said Nabila Azka Amaalia, Head of Public Relations for the Hajj Service Officers (PPIC) at Solo Embarkation, when contacted on Sunday, 26 April 2026.
Regarding the chances of departure to the Holy Land for these repatriated prospective Hajj pilgrims, Nabila stated that it is possible they will be sent the following year. “If they have returned to their regions, they will be sent the following year, but with the condition of awaiting the results of health examinations, whether istitha’ah or not,” she said.
As for the prospective Hajj pilgrims who are ill and still undergoing treatment in hospitals up to yesterday, there were nine recorded. Of that number, five were treated at RSUD Dr. Moewardi, one at RSUP Surakarta, and three at the Solo Embarkation Clinic.
On Sunday, the Solo Embarkation received the arrival of prospective Hajj pilgrims from various regions, divided into four clusters. Cluster 16 arrived at 06:00 WIB carrying pilgrims from Batang Regency and Grobogan Regency. Next, Cluster 17 was scheduled to arrive at 09:00 WIB from Batang Regency.
The next arrival was Cluster 18 at 13:00 WIB, transporting pilgrims from Batang Regency, Kendal Regency, Grobogan Regency, and Pekalongan Regency. Meanwhile, Cluster 19 was scheduled to arrive at 19:00 WIB with pilgrims from Kendal Regency.
In addition to arrivals, on the same day, two clusters were also departed to the Holy Land. Cluster 14 was sent off at 04:00 WIB with pilgrims from Pekalongan Regency, Pekalongan City, and Purbalingga Regency. Cluster 15 was sent off at 12:10 WIB, carrying pilgrims from Pekalongan City, Batang Regency, and Tegal City.
