10 BNI-Supported SMEs Showcase at Dhawafest Pesona 2026
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, continues to strengthen its support for the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) by presenting 10 supported SMEs at the Dhawa Festival (Dhawafest) Pesona 2026 exhibition in Jakarta. The aim is to expand market access, increase product branding, and encourage increased transactions for the supported business operators.
Corina Leyla Carnalies, Director of Consumer Banking at BNI, stated that BNI’s participation in Dhawafest represents the bank’s commitment to promoting SMEs to become increasingly competitive and internationally recognised.
“BNI’s participation in Dhawafest Pesona 2026 is a concrete manifestation of the company’s commitment to support our SMEs to move up in class, become more competitive, and be able to expand their market networks through cross-institutional collaboration,” Corina said in a written statement on Tuesday (10 March 2026).
For context, Dhawafest Pesona 2026 is organised by Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Finance Ministry (DWP Kemenkeu) as a platform for promoting creative products from various regions across Indonesia. The exhibition ran for three days from 4-6 March 2026 at Dhanapala Hall, located in the Finance Ministry Complex in Jakarta.
This year, Dhawafest brought together approximately 240 participants comprising craftspeople, manufacturers, and SME operators supported by various government agencies, state-owned enterprises, private institutions, and representatives of Dharma Wanita Persatuan within the Finance Ministry.
With the theme “Graceful Offerings of Nusantara – Supporting Higher-Class SMEs Towards Golden Indonesia”, the exhibition showcased diverse products in fashion, handicrafts, and culinary sectors that reflect the cultural richness of various Indonesian regions. For this year’s event, West Sumatra province was designated as the Dhawafest icon, symbolised by the Plate Dance (Tari Piring), which represents the values of cooperation and synergy.
BNI brought various supported SMEs from diverse sectors to the exhibition. These include Fenny Permata with jewellery products made from pearls and gems, Rafi Ridwan x ManZieRa presenting works by disabled craftspeople featuring headscarves and woven textiles, Jeara Sleep Wear with sleepwear products, Polka Clothes with batik and polka-dot woven fabrics, and Bagora with fried garlic products.
BNI also brought other supported SMEs such as Rendang Asese specialising in traditional Nusantara cuisine, Artha Boutique with batik products, Wong Perfume with local fragrances, Lemari Lawas with vintage and antique batik collections, Rumah BUMN Bekasi with Islamic fashion, Abit Kain with clothing, ulos textile, and bag products, and FIEF with batik and woven textile collections.
Beyond showcasing premium SME products, BNI also promoted the use of non-cash transactions and enhanced financial literacy among business operators. This effort aligns with BNI’s commitment to supporting digital transformation in the SME sector whilst promoting more modern and sustainable business practices.
Through participation in Dhawafest Pesona 2026, BNI hopes that supported SMEs can gain broader market access and strengthen business networks with various partners. The synergy between the banking sector, government, and business operators is considered crucial for accelerating SME growth as the backbone of Indonesia’s national economy towards achieving Golden Indonesia.
