10,000 PKSS Personnel Ready to Secure Eid al-Fitr Activities
With Eid al-Fitr approaching, Indonesian community activities across various sectors are experiencing significant increases. This is characterised by the mudik tradition, whereby millions of people travel annually. Additionally, office buildings, shopping centres, and public services are busier than usual.
These conditions also potentially heighten security vulnerabilities, necessitating preparedness among security personnel to ensure the situation remains safe and conducive.
In response, PT Prima Karya Sarana Sejahtera (PKSS), Indonesia’s security services provider, has convened an alert roll call and conducted training for Security Unit (Satpam) personnel to strengthen security readiness across various deployment areas.
The Security Unit training activity was attended by more than 10,000 PKSS security personnel, both onsite and online, deployed across various sectors nationwide, including banking, government, public facilities, retail, and other sectors.
The training emphasised several critical aspects, including 24-hour security preparedness during the Eid al-Fitr period, strengthened surveillance of various client facilities and operational areas, and heightened personnel vigilance regarding potentially suspicious activities in the workplace.
Beyond personnel training, PKSS has also intensified operational patrol activities across its branches throughout Indonesia. These patrols are conducted intensively during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period to ensure all security services continue operating optimally and provide full support to clients.
The patrol operations are also conducted through coordination with law enforcement officials in their respective areas as a form of synergy in maintaining environmental security. This collaboration is expected to ensure all community activities and company operations proceed safely and orderly throughout the Eid al-Fitr period.
