The operator of the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road (Tamer), PT Marga Mandalasakti (MMS), recorded 1.9 million vehicles that passed through the Tamer toll route during the mudik flow period from H-10 to H+1 of Eid 2026. “From 11 to 22 March 2026, the cumulative volume of vehicles crossing the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road totalled 1,936,584 vehicles,” said the Head of the CSR and Public Relations Management Department of Astra Toll Tangerang-Merak, PT MMS, Uswatun Hasanah, in Tangerang, Banten, on Monday (23/3), as reported by Antara. Uswatun stated that the vehicle crossing figures for that period experienced an increase of around 5.6%, with an average daily traffic of 144,379 vehicles. The number of vehicles during the 2026 Eid mudik period increased by 9.5% compared to the normal average daily traffic (LHR). Based on crossings at each toll gate (GT), Uswatun added, the Cikupa Toll recorded 495,139 vehicles during the 11-22 March 2026 period. The daily traffic reached 50,183 vehicles. There was a 7.3% increase compared to the same period and 30.6% higher than the normal LHR. Next, for outbound traffic or exit at the Merak Toll Gate heading to Merak Port and surrounding areas, a total of 135,523 vehicles were recorded during the same period. “On Sunday, 22 March 2026, the traffic volume reached 8,177 vehicles, down 3.2% compared to the same period in 2025, up 16.6%,” Uswatun explained. Uswatun further explained that on Eid day, 21 March 2026, a total of 1,788,995 vehicles cumulatively crossed the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road. The average daily traffic was 120,789 vehicles. This figure was 0.6% lower compared to the same period, or down 17.3% from the normal LHR. “For each toll gate, such as at the Cikupa entrance, 444,956 vehicles were recorded. Then at the Merak exit, it reached 127,346 vehicles,” said Uswatun.
