1,773 Civil Servants Begin Basic Military Training for Reserve Component
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - A total of 1,773 Civil Servants (ASN) from the first wave across various ministries and agencies began undergoing Basic Military Training (Latmilsar) for the Reserve Component (Komcad) at their respective locations on Wednesday (22/4/2026).
The dispatch of participants was carried out by the Ministry of Defence through an opening ceremony at Baseops Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Wednesday morning.
The ceremony was led by the Head of the National Reserve Agency (Kabacadnas) of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General TNI Gabriel Lama, who represented Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.
“A total of 1,773 ASN in this first wave will participate in this programme as a form of commitment to enhancing readiness,” said Sjafrie, whose message was read by Gabriel.
“At the same time, it builds professional, integrity-driven human resources with a defence character in line with ethical values,” he added.
Administrative checks were conducted from 2 to 27 March 2026 at their respective ministries.
Subsequently, health examinations took place from 30 March to 10 April 2026 at four hospitals, involving 2,115 participants, comprising 2,019 who passed and 96 who did not.
From 1,927 participants who underwent this stage, 1,773 were declared to have passed and 150 did not.
The successful participants then proceeded to Basic Military Training spread across several locations.
The Komcad training sites for ASN are:
National Intelligence Agency Communication Centre (Puskom Belneg) with 257 personnel
Main Regiment of the Jaya Military Regional Command (Rindam Jaya) with 222 personnel
Army Health Education Centre (Pusdikes Puskesad) with 453 personnel
