“Those that are temporarily [closed] will still receive [the Rp 6 million daily incentive],” said Dadan to reporters after inaugurating the construction of the Hasanuddin University (Unhas) SPPG in Makassar, as reported by detikSulsel on Tuesday (28/4/2026). Dadan explained the reason for continuing the incentives. He argued that the incentives are provided because the SPPGs are still carrying out activities until operations resume. “Because they have to handle other matters and the employees are given training and then must do things according to the needs during the closure,” he clarified. Dadan stated that the 1,720 SPPGs were closed based on data up to April 2026. The SPPGs were closed because they did not possess the Wastewater Treatment Installation (IPAL) documents and Hygiene Sanitation Certificates (SLHS). “Now it’s reduced slightly, around 1,720 [SPPGs temporarily closed],” Dadan revealed. SPPGs that have completed those requirements can resume operations. The reactivation process for SPPGs that meet the criteria does not take long. “So we just need to check if the quality is good, the service is good, the menu is also good, hopefully the SLHS and certificates are issued within a month so they don’t need to be suspended temporarily,” he explained.
