1,702 Prospective Students Accepted at Cimahi's 'Maung' School, a Dedi Mulyadi Initiative
SMKN 1 Cimahi, West Java, has announced the students who passed the selection for the 2026/2027 New Student Admission System (SPMB). A total of 672 students are registered at the vocational school, which has been designated as a ‘Sekolah Maung’ (Superior Human School), an idea conceived by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi. Based on data compiled from SMKN 1 Cimahi, the total number of eligible applicants to the Sekolah Maung, located on Jalan Mahar Martanegara, reached 1,702 people. The breakdown includes 1,523 applicants via the academic report card pathway, 9 via the academic championship pathway, and 170 via the non-academic pathway. The final result saw only 672 people declared accepted at SMKN 1 Cimahi for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, in accordance with the established quota. The breakdown of accepted students is 528 from the academic report card pathway, 9 from the academic championship pathway, and 135 from the non-academic pathway. ‘Those accepted are in line with the quota of 672 people from all pathways. If anyone comes here, we will direct them to view the results directly on the website,’ said the Head of SPMB at SMKN 1 Cimahi, Erwin, when confirmed on Monday (8/6/2026). He stated that the students who passed the SPMB selection at SMKN 1 Cimahi have already been divided into the departments available at the Sekolah Maung. The largest number is in the Electronics Engineering Department with 11 study groups (rombel), followed by Software and Game Development (PPLG) with 4 study groups, Electrical Power with 3 study groups, and Broadcasting and Film with 3 study groups.
