As many as 1,528 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) across Indonesia have been temporarily halted in operations by the National Nutrition Agency. This data was recorded up to Wednesday (25/3). The temporary suspension is due to the SPPG not yet possessing Hygiene and Sanitation Certification (SLHS).

Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency for Public Communication and Investigation, Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, stated that the data represents an accumulation from January 2025 to March 2026. The number shows a downward trend compared to two weeks prior.

“There has been a decrease compared to two weeks ago because they have now registered for SLHS,” Nanik said in her statement on Thursday (26/3/2026), as reported by detikFinance.

According to Nanik, two weeks earlier, the number of suspended SPPG was higher, especially on Java island, reaching more than 1,500 units. Additionally, eastern Indonesia recorded 779 affected SPPG, while western Indonesia had 492.

Nanik explained that the suspension action was primarily for SPPG that had not registered for SLHS. After enforcement, most have now fulfilled this obligation.

“After we suspend them, if the issue is because they haven’t registered for SLHS, now many have registered,” Nanik added.

Nanik emphasised that this temporary halt policy is to ensure that nutrition service standards remain maintained, particularly regarding hygiene and sanitation aspects. SPPG operations can gradually return to normal after improvements in SLHS compliance.

This step is also part of national oversight to guarantee that the quality of nutritional services to the public remains safe and in accordance with government-set standards.
