1,319 prospective KIP recipient students pass SNBP pathway at Unila
Bandarlampung (ANTARA) - Universitas Lampung (Unila) states that 1,319 prospective students who are recipients of the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) have passed through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway. “In total for the SNBP pathway, Unila has accepted 2,866 prospective students, of which 1,319 are KIP recipients,” said the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau (BAK) at Unila, Hero Satrian Arief, in Bandarlampung on Wednesday. Nevertheless, he continued, of the 1,319 prospective students, only 647 have been declared eligible to receive KIP Kuliah assistance. He stated that if the central government does not increase the quota for KIP Kuliah recipients, Unila will provide relief to the remainder. “Yes, only 647 are eligible, so for the rest, Unila will provide the lowest Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for prospective students who passed SNBP with KIP. However, we hope that the number of KIP Kuliah recipients from the centre will increase,” he said. “This means there is no reason for KIP recipients not to attend university. We will also call all KIP recipients for interviews, and if there are any objections, they can report it,” said Hero Satrian Arief.
