Chief Executive Officer of BPI Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, has reported to President Prabowo Subianto that the fund has consolidated 258 State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Danantara also plans to continue the consolidation process for a further 300 SOEs in the near future.

Rosan conveyed this after being summoned by Prabowo to his residence on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, on Sunday (21/6). “Out of a total of 1,077 SOE entities, 258 entities have been successfully consolidated, and around 300 other entities will soon follow,” Rosan said, as quoted from his official Instagram account @rosanroeslani on Tuesday (23/6/2026).

According to Rosan, the consolidation or merger of these state-owned entities aims to improve corporate efficiency. Furthermore, each SOE can mutually strengthen corporate governance and enhance competitiveness. “This consolidation aims to increase efficiency, strengthen governance, and boost competitiveness,” explained Rosan, who also serves as Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM.

Rosan added that the meeting also discussed how Danantara could play a role in developing the tourism sector. This would help create more new jobs and increase national economic turnover. “We also discussed opportunities for developing new sectors that Danantara can drive, such as tourism, sports events, and the creative industry, to create more jobs and boost national economic turnover,” Rosan stated.
