A total of 1,025 nutrition fulfilment service units (SPPG) in Central Java have yet to obtain a Hygiene Sanitation Eligibility Certificate (SLHS). Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Sudaryono had previously set a deadline for all SPPGs to secure the certificate by 10 August 2026. Head of the Central Java Health Office, Zulfachmi Wahab, stated that according to Ministry of Health data, there are 4,373 SPPGs in the province. Of these, 3,348 already possess the SLHS, while 1,025 remain uncertified. Zulfachmi could not confirm whether the uncertified units are already operational. He noted that 3,606 SPPGs are currently in the process of obtaining SLHS, with 3,577 having been categorised as meeting environmental health inspection requirements (IKL MS). However, he explained that passing the environmental health inspection does not automatically grant the SLHS, as units must also fulfil other requirements, including food handler training and laboratory testing for bacteria.
