As I have stated earlier, anything with Mohammed Alabbar at the helm is dodgy to say the least. When Emaar was originally floated they were grossly oversuscribed and the potential investors who were not succesful had to wait a long long time to get their money back. In addittion, Mohammed went against UAE policy when he offered non UAE citizens the possibility of owning thier own property in the Emirates.

"By doing so, it is expected that Emaar Properties, an investor from Dubai, Arab Emirate Union, will immediately invest in this region," NTB Governor Drs H Alu Serinata said during the coordination meeting on poverty problem, here, on Saturday.
