PTPN X seeking Rp1.1 trillion in syndicated loans

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned plantation company PTPN X is exploring the possibility of obtaining a syndicated loan worth Rp1.1 trillion from Bank Mandiri, BRI bank, Bank Mega and BCA bank, PTPN X Financial Director Tendry Supriatno said here on Friday. "The syndicated loan is needed to revitalize the company`s plantations which are estimated to need about Rp1.6 trillion," Supriatno said.

Government Asked to Announce CPO Tax Soon

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: A number of circles asked the government to announce the scheme of progressive tax for crude palm oil (CPO) and CPO-based products. The uncertainty of the policy plan will distort the international CPO price. The House of Representatives (DPR) Industry and Trade Commission Deputy Chairman, Lili Asudiredja, said that the government should announce the progressive tax scheme today (31/8).
