An Eastindo Air helicopter crashed in South Kalimantan's Tanah Bumbu district shortly after departing Kotabaru airport, leaving one person confirmed dead and seven missing. Over 200 personnel from police, military, and local agencies are conducting search and recovery operations across 27 square kilometres of dense rainforest, hampered by adverse weather and difficult terrain.
