Indonesia has concluded a comprehensive trade agreement with the United States designed to reduce economic dependency on China and diversify its international partnerships. The deal is expected to provide better access to American technology, investment, and markets whilst opening new opportunities for Indonesian industries, farmers, and entrepreneurs. The agreement is presented as strengthening Indonesian economic sovereignty and creating more balanced, transparent trade relationships.
