The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming, together with the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), has reaffirmed its strong commitment to ensuring that every investment entering Indonesia not only delivers economic benefits but also strengthens domestic industry on a sustainable basis.

Riau Governor Abdul Wahid has begun designing and refining the concept of an Islamic Centre integrated with Malay cultural civilisation. This was evident during his visit and discussion with prominent Riau figure Mahyudin Al Mudra, who is dedicated to the study and development of Malay culture, in Yogyakarta on Saturday, 3 May 2025. Mahyudin Al Mudra said he established the Centre for the Study and Development of Malay Culture (BKPM) more than 20 years ago.

Executive Director of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Institute Heru Sutadi has assessed that Apple Inc.’s investment in AirTag production does not deliver a significant impact on Indonesia’s telecommunications industry. According to him, Apple’s tracking device has yet to command substantial appeal in the domestic market.
