US Reciprocal Tariffs: Seven Trade Barrier Issues Indonesia Must Address

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — United States President Donald Trump has officially imposed reciprocal tariffs on 86 countries, including Indonesia at a rate of 32%. The tariffs take into account a number of trade barriers. Through its Department of Commerce, the US has raised several objections to Indonesia’s trade practices. These objections were conveyed in the 2025 National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers of the President of the United States on the Trade Agreements Program.
