Jakarta and the United Kingdom have intensified their bilateral partnership, with significant progress in transport infrastructure modernisation including electric buses, MRT, and LRT expansion projects. The collaboration extends to education initiatives and digital skills development, with the UK committing £9 million to five low-carbon transport projects across Indonesia to support sustainable urban development and reduce carbon emissions.
