Apple has announced plans to build an AirTag manufacturing factory in Indonesia by 2025, representing a major foreign direct investment and significant expansion of the global technology company's production footprint in Southeast Asia. The facility will create thousands of jobs, facilitate technology transfer, and strengthen Indonesia's advanced manufacturing capabilities whilst supporting Apple's supply chain diversification strategy.
