Indonesia is pursuing a significant defence policy shift with proposals to establish a dedicated Cyber Force under the TNI (National Armed Forces) in response to escalating cyber threats targeting government institutions and critical infrastructure. The initiative, backed by MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo and Communications Minister Budi Arie Setiadi, reflects deepening concerns about sophisticated state-sponsored cyberattacks, particularly from China, which threaten national security and economi
