Egypt and Indonesia have agreed to expand cooperation in digital infrastructure and information communications technology, with Egypt keen to invest in Indonesian data centre projects and offering training in ICT specialisations. Indonesian Communications Minister Budi Arie Setiadi confirmed the discussions at the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum in Bali, where Egypt's counterpart emphasised the countries' historical ties dating to Indonesia's independence in 1945.
