Indonesia has asked China's central bank to start purchasing Indonesian bonds as part of an effort to attract more long-term investors to Southeast Asia's largest economy, a senior government official said on Friday.

Amid mushrooming digital startup companies in the country, Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) head Triawan Munaf said that the agency was planning to hold a startup incubation program next year to accelerate the growth and replicate success of startups.
