One of Australia's largest exporters of live cattle has signed a deal, reported to be worth $10 million, with two Indonesian businesses to form an end-to-end meat processing company based in South Sulawesi. The deal, between Austrex and Indonesian firms Pramana Agri Resources and Rumpinary Agro Industry, will allow the joint venture to have control of the cattle supply from Australia through to the sale of boxed beef, the Jakarta Globe reports.
