President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono welcomed the plan here on Tuesday saying "I welcome it as more Indonesian people would be able to work to increase their income." Palangkaraya, C.Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - PT British Petroleum planned in the near future to explore coal bed methane (CBM) in Central Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan Deputy Governor Ir.Achmad Diran said here Tuesday. "We are very grateful and give the highest appreciation to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in this case the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, as well as PT British Petroleum which will develop potential coal bed methane (CBM) in Central Kalimantan," he said.
