C. Sulawesi Oilfield Production Halted by Raids

Tiaka oilfield in Central Sulawesi, jointly operated by state-run Pertamina and Medco Tomori, has halted production since Monday, after some 30 protesters attacked and destroyed facilities in Tiaka island, oil and gas regulator BPMigas said on Tuesday.

London Sumatra`s profit surges 112 pct

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Oil palm plantation company PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP) posted a net profit of Rp886.3 billion in the first half of 2011, a 112 percent surge compared to Rp417.8 billion in the same period last year.
