Dubai World May Bail on Bakrieland’s Rasuna Epicentrum Project

Indonesian Middle Class Grows, Shoe Market Up
VIVAnews – The Indonesian Shoe Manufacturers Association (Aprisindo) stated that national shoe market would keep growing. This is in line with the rise of per capita income and the number of middle-class people in Indonesia. Based on World Bank’s data, in 2003 the number of middle class members was around 81 million or 37.7 percent. Meanwhile in 2011 this class had 131 million people or 56.5 percent.

Investment in Housing Growing by 60 Percent
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Developers are accelerating their housing projects to meet a 60 percent increase in demand for re-investment. “Young professionals are the main enthusiasts who are taking advantage of available mortgages,” said Muhammad Reza Makkawaru, the Imperium Mice CEO, yesterday. According to Reza, investment in the housing sector has been growing since 2010, with many transactions recorded during exhibitions.

Suzuki to declare Indonesia production base
JAKARTA, (Xinhua) Japanese automobile and motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki plans to make Indonesia as its regional production base and add investment by over 800 million U.S. dollar, Indonesian Industry Minister MS Hidayat has said. "Suzuki Motor chairman Osamu Suzuki will come here on July 4 to announce the 800 million U.S. dollar investment and declare Indonesia its production base for exports,"the minister was quoted by the Jakarta Post as saying on Wednesday.

30 Sudan businessmen wish partnership with Indonesia
Cairo (ANTARA News) - Thirty construction businessmen from Sudan are currently in Jakarta to explore cooperation prospects with their Indonesian counterparts. Their visit to Indonesia has also been related to Indobuildtech in Jakarta from June 22 to 26, 2011, the Indonesian embassy in Khartoum said Wednesday.
