Indonesia to Lead Coal Export Growth Through 2020

Indonesia will lead global growth in thermal coal exports in the next decade with producers Bumi Resources and Adaro Energy becoming two of the top three coal exporting companies worldwide by 2015, an energy consultancy firm said on Tuesday. China's CNBM to invest $400 mln in cement, glass in Indonesia-paper

JAKARTA, June 1 (Reuters) - China National Building Material Co Ltd (CNBM) plans to invest $400 million to build a cement factory and glassworks in the next two years in Indonesia's main Java island, a newspaper reported on Wednesday. "We are committed to build a cement factory in Grobogan and glassworks in Tangerang, to cooperate with local firms, with each investment being $350 million and $50 million," Bisnis Indonesia quoted Ma Mingliang, the head of the firm's cement division, as saying.

RI`s 2012 oil production estimated at only 882,140 bpd

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s crude oil and condensate production in 2012 is estimated to reach only 882,140 barrels per day (bpd), according to data from BP Migas received here on Tuesday. The production estimates from contractors until May 30, 2011 are far below the government`s target of 950,000 to 970,000 barrels a day in 2010. The estimates are also below BP Migas`s target of between 930,000 and 950,000 barrels a day.
