The Indonesia Open golf tournament will be tourism window of the nation as it will be covered by several big media, officials said here on Monday.Sudrajat, secretary general of the Indonesian Golf Association, told a press conference that the tournament will be one of the biggest attraction to foreign tourists."The Indonesia Open will be tourism window of the nation. With total prize of 1 million U.S. dollars, no other sport could compete with it.

P&G plans to invest $100 million in Indonesia oleochemicals
JAKARTA (Reuters) - Procter & Gamble Co (P&G) (PG.N) will invest $100 million in the oleochemical sector in Indonesia, the country's industry minister MS Hidayat said on Monday. "P&G is anticipating the need for 200,000 tonnes of fatty alcohol in the coming ten years from Indonesia," Hidayat said following a meeting with P&G officials at his office. "To meet the need they are preparing at least $100 million to set up a joint venture with the local partner in the sector," Hidayat added.

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro said the Malaysian defense industry’s offer to cooperate would be adjusted to local demand. The ASEAN defense ministers’ meeting last week agreed upon defense industry cooperation between ASEAN countries. The proposal was initiated by Malaysia and was agreed upon by ASEAN nations. Malaysian Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi said the cooperation could begin with Indonesia and Malaysia.

RI exploring possibility of expanding European market through Serbia
