S Korea Eyeing Indonesia Bridge Project
VIVAnews - South Korea voiced its interest to participate in the development of the Sunda Strait Bridge in Indonesia. "[The South Korean] president sent his Minister of Economy to discuss about the project," said Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Hatta Rajasa, on Thursday. "I figure the value of the partnership may reach US$20 billion." However, the government has yet to decide whether the cooperation will only deal with the financing or construction.

Indonesia – South Korea Produce New Fighting Jets
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesia and South Korea are producing five 4.5 generation multi-mission fighting jet prototypes, KF-X/IF-X. One of the five prototypes will be given to Indonesia. “The other four are for South Korea,” said Brig. Gen. Agus Suyarso, the Defense Potential Directorate General’s Defense Industry technology director, in Jakarta yesterday. Agus said the project was the continuation of the cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea.

Reliance Invests US$ 10 Billion
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indian company the Reliance Group, plans to invest Rp10 billion in three sectors. Investment Coordination Board (BKPM) chief Gita Irawan Wirjawan said Reliance was interested in the mining, infrastructure and power plant. The company is projected to take over a coal mine in South Sumatra. Transportation Minister Freddy Numberi said the government had offered the Semarang-Surabaya double track project and the Manggarai-Bandara Soekarno-Hatta Airport track.

South Korea eyeing RI infrastructure projects
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - South Korea has an interest to participate in infrastructure development in Indonesia, including the construction of Sunda Strait bridge. "South Korea is interested in a number of infrastructure projects in Indonesia, including Sunda Strait bridge development," Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa said after a coordination meeting to discuss traffic congestion problem in several Indonesian major cities here on Thursday.

VP concerned about oil production decline
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Vice President Boediono expressed concern here on Wednesday over the decline in the country`s oil production and has asked BP Migas to pay serious attention to it. He said the oil sector had shown its good performance because oil production in Indonesia is declining. "There is a sector I am not happy about namely our oil sector which is performing well.
