Banda Aceh, Aceh (ANTARA News) - A biodiesel and ethanol plant under construction in Beunyot village, Juli subdistrict, Bireuen regency, Aceh province, is scheduled for operation in the middle of this year. Bireuen regent Nurdin AR said in Bireuen on Friday the biodiesel and ethanol plant is built with assistance of the social affairs ministry to produce alternative fuel oil to replace fossiel fuel oil.

The government is proposing to lift the nation’s 2010 growth forecast as high as 6 percent this year, in line with favorable macroeconomic indicators, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Friday at the House of Representatives. “A rise to between 5.5 percent to 6 percent is very likely,” Sri Mulyani said in a meeting with House Commission XI to discuss revisions to the 2010 state budget.
