Let me get this right.If a vessel is in Indonesian waters it should be Indo registered but if it goes to the US it has to be US registered.I can't be right.

Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian government on Thursday lodged a protest with the World Bank against the draft framework for engagement in palm oil which it said will harm the development of palm oil industry in the country.

Starting in January, as a result of legislation pushed through the Indonesian House of Representatives, all vessels operating in Indonesian waters will be required to be registered domestically, which could kick off seagoing chaos.
