^ That's not far off wrong. You should see the price of things in places like Rodalink, BSD. Its amazing. Places like that are catering to fashion, not people interested in riding a bike. There are lots of people using them for genuine reasons. People interested in keeping fit, having a Sunday ride out or simply an alternative form of transport on Jakarta's jammed roads.

Bali's Governor Wants to Double Foreign Tourist Arrivals in Four Years. (11/27/2010) Bali's visionary governor I Made Mangku Pastika remains confident that foreign tourist arrivals will continue to grow, reaching 5 million visitors by 2015. If achieved, this would be a more than 100% increase from the 2.3-2.4 million foreign visitors projected for all of 2010.

Govt urged to "Buy Indonesian"
A senior politician wants the government to buy locally made products to bolster Indonesia’s economy. “Indonesia is better known as a foreign products user - not as a producer. Thus, the government should start protecting local products,” former Regional Representatives Council speaker Ginandjar Kartasasmita said over the weekend as quoted by kompas.com.

Yahoo Sees Lots of Potential in Indonesia’s Burgeoning Internet Market
Jakarta. Global Internet giant Yahoo is gearing up to increase its presence in Indonesia after recently acquiring local location-based service provider Koprol and launching a campaign to attract first-time Internet users. Pontus Sonnerstedst, country manager for Yahoo Indonesia, said that while the country had one of the fastest-growing Internet markets in Southeast Asia, it also had the lowest percentage of active users.
