Singapore's DBS says targets growth in Indonesia

SINGAPORE, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Singapore's DBS (DBSM.SI: Quote, Profile, Research) plans to more than double its Indonesian branch network over the next three years and will look for acquisitions in Southeast Asia's biggest economy, its chairman said on Wednesday.

Indonesia has only 0.18 pct self-sufficient business people

Garut (ANTARA News) - Minister for Empowerment of Women Meutia Hatta Swasono said that only 0,18 percent of the Indonesian population consists of self-supporting businesspeople, while the country will achieve good progress if at least 2-3 percent of the total population has become self-sufficient.
