The customs and excise office has prepared a new system to ensure a smoother flow of goods as part of its aim to cut high-cost economy as often complained by businesses. The system, named the Customs Advance Trade System (CATS), is an integrated national logistics system, which jobs is to expand goods clearance and cargo processing to spoke areas and inland ports, instead of only in the Tanjung Priok port, as happened now.
