Japanese Investors Eye Purbalingga
TEMPO Interactive, Purbalingga:A number of Japanese investors intend to invest in food production in Purbalingga regency. βAt least 171 Jpanese companies are interested in investing in crystal coconut sugar produced by Purbalingga,β said Djoko Triwinarso, Purbalingga Secretariat spokesperson, yesterday. Two investors, Pooki Teading Co and Asaki Yushi Koogyo, said they were ready to build livestock feed and food industries.

Indonesia`s Utd Tractors sees big fall in heavy equipment sales
Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) -- Heavy equipment sales by PT United Tractors (JSX:UNTR) totaled only 439 units in February down 48.83 per cent from the same period last year. Declines were recorded in sales to all sectors including agribusiness, construction, mining and forestry sectors, Ari Setiyawan, a spokesman of the publicly traded heavy equipment company said. The decline has been expected and the sales were not below target, Setiyawan told the newspaper Investor Daily.

Plan to open Indonesia trade promotion center in Shanghai canceled
Beijing (ANTARA News) - Indonesia has canceled its plan to open Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Shanghai and is now looking for another Chinese city where the center can be set up. The center could not be established in Shanghai because of a new regulation issued by the local government, visiting Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said here Friday.
