Govt to form infrastructure fund soon
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The government is soon to form an Infrastructure Fund tasked with collecting long-term funds from donor countries and other sources to speed up infrastructure development, a top public works official said. "The Fund`s establishment has been awaited for a long time because we badly need long-term financing sources for infrastructure development," Deputy Public Works Minister Hermanto Dardak said here on Tuesday.

Indonesia sees foreign investment up 15 pct in 2010
JAKARTA, Dec 24 - Indonesia's foreign direct investment is set to rebound 15 percent in 2010 on a global economic recovery after dropping 28 percent this year to just below $10 billion, the state investment agency (BKPM) said. Policy makers in Southeast Asia's biggest economy are struggling to attract more foreign investment to speed up economic growth and make inroads into unemployment and poverty.

Non Food Label Regulation Starts from January
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The government is to apply the Trade Ministerial regulation on Indonesian language labels for non-food products, such as electronics, spare parts and construction tools and materials. “The regulation is part of the Department’s 100 days program,” said Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu yesterday. Consumer Protection Director Radu Malam Sembiring explained that labels contain information on producers, importers, product content and other information.
