Oh this is brilliant ..... I don't know why they publish this as it is clear the person speaking has no insight of the local market (Indonesia). I don't think she is even based in Indonesia and if she is then she can expect a visit from the Manpower department looking for some cash as it is against the law to have a non Indonesian in an HR position! If she is based here then JP has just created a lot of trouble for her.

Govt eyes more investment from Arab world: Kadin

Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country, expects a downpour of investments from the Middle East following the creation of a massive fund by oil kingpins in the Islamic region, a powerful lobby group says. The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) estimated Tuesday around US$1 billion of windfall oil proceeds from the Middle East would be invested in Indonesia this year.

Govt's new tariffs may benefit Indonesia's cellular industry

In response to a recent ruling by the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU), the government announced a new set of interconnection tariffs, which will take effect on April 1, 2008. Although controversial, the regulations may actually encourage growth within the cellular industry.
