Irish businesses seeking joint ventures in RI
Irish businesses are keen to invest in the country by setting up joint ventures with Indonesian counterparts to eventually bolster trade between the two nations, Ireland's Ambassador to Indonesia H.E Richard O'Brien said on Tuesday. For that purpose, a group of Irish companies and foreign trade executives have arrived in town to meet delegates from Indonesian business, political and academic circles to discuss trade and joint venture prospects.

Cambodian bizmen wish to do business with Indonesians
Phnom Phen (ANTARA News) - Some 25 Cambodian businessmen have expressed interest in establishing business contacts with Indonesians among other things in the industry and tourism sectors. The Cambodian businessmen expressed their wish to cooperate with Indonesian businessmen during a "Business Matching" function, in Phnom Phen on Tuesday.

RI to set up halal certification center
Bogor, W Java, (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian government plans to set up an international-standard halal (edible according to Islamic law) product certificiation center, a minister said. Agriculture Minister Anton Apriyantono said here on Tuesday the bill on halal product guarantee was currently still being discussed at the parliament, adding he hoped the discussion could be finished soon.
