Indonesia's Mobile-8 ratings affirmed after completion of bond issue - Moody's
MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Moody's Investors Service affirmed the 'B2' corporate family rating of PT Mobile-8 Telecom Tbk, Indonesia's fourth-largest cellular operator. At the same time, Moody's (nyse: MCO - news - people ) affirmed the 'B2' rating for the 100 mln usd senior unsecured 11.25 pct bond due 2013 issued by Mobile-8 Telecom Finance Company BV and guaranteed by Mobile-8 after the completion of the bond issuance. The outlook on the ratings is stable.

Indonesia August motorcycle sales up 17 pct from July, led by Honda
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian domestic motorcycle sales in August rose 17 percent from July to 429,156 bikes, with Honda taking the biggest market share, data released Monday by the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association show. Honda regained its market leadership after losing it to Yamaha in July, with sales in August of 187,544 bikes compared to Yamaha's 168,708, Thomson Financial reported citing the association.

Indonesia expects China to invest more in manufacturing
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia expects China to invest more in Indonesia`s manufacturing field such as automotive, electronic and textile industries, a minister said. "Most of (Chinese) investment currently goes into natural resources and infrastructure. We hope that (Chinese) investment in our manufacturing industry will increase too," Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said after receiving computer grants from the Chinese government here Monday.

RI promotes Bali in Japan's expo
TOKYO (Antara): Indonesia again promoted Bali as the famous tourist object with a good security in an international tourism expo organized by the Japan Association Travel Agency (JATA) in Tokyo, Japan. "To attract more foreign tourists to visit Indonesia, we really want to promote Bali as the most secured tourist destination including a serious effort from local government to contain bird flu," Director General for Marketing Affairs of the Culture and Tourism MinistryThamrin Bachri said Sunday.
