Royal doulton to invest US$25 million more in RI industry
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Royal Boulton Company of Britain which has so far invested US$75 million in the ceramic industry sector in Indonesa plans to increase the amount by US$25 million, a spokesman said. Anthony O`Reilly, the British company`s chairman, said here Saturday with the additional investment, the company would raise its ceramic wares production capacity in Indonesia from six million to 12 million pieces per year.

Japanese still dominate tourist flow to Bali
Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - Japanese still dominated the foreign tourist flow to Bali in the first three months of this year, a local tourism official said. "Some 24 percent of a total of 346,942 foreign tourists who came to Bali in January-March this year were from Japan," head of the promotion section of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurants Association (PHRI) I B Ngurah Kumbayana said on Saturday.

Makro Indonesia to refocus on core business amid retail boom

Islands off Gunungkidul coast to be developed as vacation spots
Yogyakarta (ANTARA News) - A number of small uninhabited islands off Gunungkidul district`s coast will be developed to become marine vacation spots, a local official said on Saturday. "The uninhabited islands are now being surveyed to determine whether or not they have a living ecosystem," Eko Subantoro, head of the local Development Planning Board (Bappeda), said. He added the survey was being done by Yogyakarta provincial administration teams moving on as well as around the islands.
