Kalimantan-Java Gas Pipeline Project to be Reviewed
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Tubagus Haryono, Head of the Oil and Gas Downstream Supervisory Body (BPH Migas), has said that the status of the Bakrie Brothers as the holder of special rights for the gas pipeline project between East Kalimantan and Central Java will be reviewed. BPH Migas has given a deadline of July this year to the Bakrie Group, the special rights holder for this project. According to him, BPH Migas has taken into consideration the financing that Bakrie has already provided.

Telekom Malaysia to boost investments in Indonesia, India
KUALA LUMPUR (AP): Telekom Malaysia Bhd., the country's main telecommunications company, plans to increase investments in Indonesia and India, but has no plans to expand in Bangladesh, its chief executive said Wednesday. About half of the 4.9 billion ringgit (US$1.4 billion; euro billion) that Telekom will devote for overseas capital spending this year will be for Indonesia, where Telekom owns 60 percent of cellular phone company PT Excelcomindo Pratama, Chief ExecutiveAbdul Wahid Omar said.

S'pore apartment developer eyeing Indonesia
Singaporean property developer Chyau Fwu Group (CFG) is targeting Indonesian buyers for its latest development on the back of figures showing that Indonesian's account for about 33 percent of overseas property purchasers in Singapore. Senior executive Eddie Chow said Wednesday that the firm was hoping that 50 percent of the buyers of its latest residential project, called Parkview Eclat, would be Indonesians.

Govt expects higher growth next year despite doubts
The government is forecasting higher growth of 6.6 percent next year, despite renewed doubts over the achieving of this year's growth target. "The figure for next year is still a preliminary one," Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said Tuesday after a Cabinet meeting to discuss the government's work program for 2008.

Further progress in talks to develop Sabang with Dublin Port
Banda Aceh (ANTARA News) - The Sabang Area Management Agency (BPKS) and Dubln Port company of Ireland have made further progress in their negotiations to set up a joint venture company to develop and manage Sabang as a free port, a BKPS spokesman said.
