CPO exports to India expected to reach 1.4 million tons this year The Jakarta Post, Jakarta An industry association has revised upward Indonesian's exports of palm oil products to India after the latter cut import duties last week. Indonesian Palm Oil Producers Association executive director Derom Bangun said Monday that with lower import duties, Indonesia could export up to 1.4 million tons of palm oil products to India in 2006, higher than the previous estimate of 1.3 million tons.

Bakrie Telecom's net revenue up 150% The Jakarta Post, Jakarta Bakrie Telecom Tbk (BTEL), one of the country's CDMA-based mobile telecommunications providers, booked net revenues of about Rp 254.1 billion (US$27.4 million) in the first half of the year, a 150 percent increase from the Rp 101.8 billion recorded in the first six months of last year.
