Indonesia, Malaysia launch joint move to defend palm oil industry The Jakarta Post, Medan Indonesia and Malaysia have agreed to allocate 500,000 euro (about US$394,000) to pay the fees of a consultant or joint spokesman to counter campaigns launched by non-governmental organizations against palm oil production in the two countries.

Bio-Solar Marketing to be Extended Wednesday, 19 July, 2006 | 16:16 WIB TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: PT Pertamina (Persero), the state oil and gas company, will extend its marketing of bio-solar (automotive diesel oil) in Jakarta. Hanung Budya, Pertamina’s Deputy Director of Commerce and Marketing, said that an additional 11 petrol stations will sell bio-solar. The building of those petrol stations, said Hanung, is targeted to be finished this week.
