PLN says Java-Bali to face 300 MW power deficit on gas shortage Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) said the integrated Java-Bali system is facing a power deficit of 300 megawatts due to a shortage of gas supply from BP West Java to PLN's Muara Karang power plant. PLN spokesman Mulyo Adji said there has been a leakage in BP's gas pipeline since Friday night. "They (BP) are investigating the damage at its pipeline.

Bank Indonesia : Rupiah has factored in Moody's ratings upgrade Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The rupiah is not likely to strengthen further against the US dollar on the back of Moody's upgrade of Indonesia's sovereign ratings last week because the upgrades had been factored in by the market earlier, Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor Miranda Goeltom said. Rupiah lower as US dollar rebounds on rate hikes expectations Jakarata (ANTARA News) - The rupiah was lower, pressured by some renewed dollar strength against other currencies, especially the yen, dealers said. At 8:45 am, the rupiah was at 9,265/9,295 to the dollar compared to Friday's level of 9,190/9,200.
